Hey guys! Welcome to 410 in the Den. This year is going to be filled with fun, growth and friends and I am so excited for y'all to experience it. The sacrament of Confirmation is a big step in saying “yes” to God as a Catholic adult. Eric, Kathleen, Isa and I will be here with you and for you and we are honored and excited to be able to support you along your journey. As we go through the year, I would encourage you to keep an open mind. Some of the material that we’ll cover may be familiar, different, new or controversial. I think it is a critical part of each person’s Confirmation journey to discover these teachings and traditions of the Catholic faith in his or her own way. If you are open-minded about learning, then you will come to know and develop your own beliefs and opinions on subject matter as well as learn the catechism and be able to defend it. In addition, try to get to know your classmates as much as possible. We will learn a lot about each other this year and have a ton of fun while doing so. Many of you may also end up doing other Epiphany activities together after being Confirmed. I made many amazing friends and even best friends through my class last year and feel blessed to have the opportunity to get to know you this year. See you all Sunday! In Christ, Sarah
